The third collection in the CITADEL series brings new features while still delivering a lighter weight pack built with CORDURA's latest re/cor鈩?RN66, 100% recycled fabric : 420 Velocity.

For the CITADEL we specified CORDURA's new 420D Velocity, the latest textile in the CORDURA庐 re/cor鈩?RN66 collection of 100% recycled textiles. Velocity has a matte-shine finish with a water resistant top coating that repels dust and dirt and a multi-layer polyurethane back side to keep water out.

Black Ember is proud to be the world's first brand to collaborate with CORDURA庐 Advanced Fabrics on the launch of its new CORDURA庐 re/cor鈩?RN66 collection. It is the first 100% recycled nylon 6,6 textile from CORDURA庐.

When compared to virgin N6,6 production CORDURA庐 re/cor鈩?RN66 produces 83% fewer GHG emissions, consumes 82% less energy and uses 57% less water.

The CORDURA庐 re/cor鈩?RN66 refers to recycled Nylon 6,6.鈥疶hat 6,6 rating means it's a high tenacity nylon and that it is ultra-durable. CORDURA庐 re/cor鈩?RN66 has passed the brutal barrage of tests that make a woven nylon CORDURA庐 brand certified.

All Black Ember products are made using our BOND-STITCH high-precision construction. All textile components are laser-cut for precise assembly. This construction yields a super durable, over-engineered pack with a blacked-out, minimal and stealthy aesthetic.
